Online live class platform: routines, class links and attendance in one place
Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Webex: add the meeting link from wherever you teach to Biddaan. On the class day, students find the link in their own portal, opening it records their attendance, and when the class is over the link is replaced with "Class ended". Routines, class videos and discussion sit in the same course.

Online classes run, but links, attendance and routines are scattered
In many coaching centres, an online class means a new meeting link every day, posted in a WhatsApp or Facebook group. Some students cannot find the link among old messages, some open the previous day's link and wait, and the office phone keeps ringing before the class starts.
After the class there is more work. Who attended has to be written down by hand from the meeting list, and that attendance never matches the register of the offline batches. A centre that runs both online and offline batches keeps its records in two places.
The routine sits in a separate image or PDF, class notes and videos are somewhere else, and questions after class are scattered across private messages. The more students you have, the more time all of this takes.

In Biddaan, the whole live class day runs from one place
Links from the platform you already use
Add a meeting link from Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Cisco Webex. Biddaan recognises which platform the link belongs to and shows it accordingly. A YouTube Live link can also be used as a live class link.
The link on the class day, closed when it ends
The join link appears in the student portal from 12:00 AM on the class day until the set class end time. After that, the link is replaced with "Class ended", so nobody sits waiting on an old link.
Attendance when the link is opened
In online courses, a student's attendance is recorded as soon as they open the live class link. Attendance reports can be generated by course, batch, date range or one particular student.
A class routine for every course
Enter each course's class routine in a table or upload it as a PDF. Enrolled students see the routine on the course page in the portal, so there is no image to send around.
Class videos and notes in the same course
Upload videos, PDFs, documents or links to the chapters of a course, including a recorded class video if you have one. Students watch from My Courses, and only students enrolled in the course can access them.
A discussion forum for questions after class
Biddaan has a discussion forum for the questions and discussion that remain after a class. Questions no longer get lost in someone's private messages.
Before and now
How this feature works
Create the course and routine
Create a course, enroll students, and enter the class routine in a table or upload it as a PDF.
Add the live class link
Create a meeting in Meet, Zoom, Teams or Webex and add the link to Biddaan, together with the class end time.
Students join from the portal
On the class day, students see the link in their own portal, on mobile too, and join the class. Opening the link records their attendance.
After the class
Check the attendance report, upload the class video or notes to the chapter if needed, and let the remaining questions continue in the discussion forum.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which platforms can I use for live classes in Biddaan?
Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex meeting links. Biddaan recognises which platform a link belongs to and shows it accordingly in the student portal. A YouTube Live link can also be used as a live class link. The class itself runs on the platform you choose.
When can students see the class link?
The link stays in the student portal from 12:00 AM on the class day until the set class end time. When the class is over, the link is removed and a "Class ended" message appears, so there is no confusion over the previous day's link.
Is live class attendance taken automatically?
Yes, in online courses. A student's attendance is recorded as soon as they open the live class link, with no names to call and no list to keep. Attendance reports can be generated by course, batch, date range or one particular student.
Can I run online and offline batches together?
Yes. In online courses attendance comes from the live class link, and in offline batches attendance can be taken directly in the system or on ZKTeco and Tipsoi biometric devices. The class routine, notice board and bulk SMS work from the same place for both kinds of batch.
How do I tell students when a class time changes?
Update the course routine, and students see the new routine in the portal. Post urgent news on the notice board, which appears on the student portal homepage, or send one bulk SMS to everyone in that batch.
Our team will respond within 24 hours.
