Online MCQ exam and question bank software
Write a question once and use it again and again. Run MCQ, creative question (CQ), written or math exams with your own time limit, pass mark and negative marking. The system marks MCQ, true/false and fill in the blank answers itself; teachers check written answers inside the system and give the marks. Then publish the results with rankings.

Taking the exam is easy. The hassle comes before and after.
Weekly quiz or model test, it is the same cycle every time. Questions are typed the night before, then printed and photocopied. After the exam, teachers spend days checking answer scripts, and then someone sits down to enter the marks in Excel and build the merit list.
Last year's good questions sit on someone's laptop or in an old file and cannot be found when you need them. And when results come late, students and guardians both grow impatient.
The more batches and exams you run, the more of this work there is. The time spent writing questions, checking scripts and arranging results comes straight out of the time for teaching and for the students.
- Typing the questions again every time
- Checking scripts and adding up marks by hand
- Building the merit list separately in Excel
- Old questions getting lost
How Biddaan handles the whole exam workflow
Your own digital question bank
Organise questions by subject, chapter or any tag, and reuse the same question in several quizzes and exams. You can give the job of writing questions to a content admin, who cannot see fees or student information.
Every question type in one place
MCQ, true/false, fill in the blank, written, board-standard creative questions (CQ), math, and IELTS listening and speaking. A teacher can upload a question as an image or PDF instead of typing it, and a student can submit an answer as a photo or PDF.
Exams on your rules
For every quiz you set the time limit, pass mark, negative marking and how many attempts are allowed.
MCQ auto-grading, the rest in teachers' hands
MCQ, true/false and fill in the blank answers are marked as soon as the exam ends. Teachers check written, CQ, math, uploaded and IELTS speaking answers inside the system and give the marks. Then publish the results with rankings.
Offline exam results in the same place
Upload the marks of exams taken in the hall. The system publishes the results digitally and sends them to students.
Beyond exams: assignments
An assignment is not an exam. The teacher gives it on paper or as a PDF, the student submits in the same format or as text, and the teacher can add comments and annotations right on the PDF. It works the way coaching centres already work.
Before and now
How this feature works
Add questions
Write the question, or upload it as an image or PDF, and tag it with the subject and chapter. You only do this once.
Build a quiz
Pick questions from the bank and set the time limit, pass mark and negative marking.
Students take the exam
From their own student portal, on mobile too, uploading a photo or PDF of the answer when needed. Once results are out, each student sees their marks and where they rank among their classmates.
Mark and publish the results
MCQ, true/false and fill in the blank marks are already prepared. Teachers mark written, CQ, math or uploaded answers inside the system, then you publish with rankings. Marks from offline exams can be uploaded and published the same way.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which question types can we use, and which are auto-graded?
MCQ, true/false, fill in the blank, written, board-standard creative questions (CQ), math, upload (a question or an answer as an image/PDF), and IELTS listening and speaking. Auto-grading covers only MCQ, true/false and fill in the blank. Teachers check written, CQ, math, uploaded and IELTS speaking answers inside the system and give the marks.
Can negative marking be set separately for each exam?
Yes. When you create a quiz, you set negative marking, the time limit, the pass mark and how many attempts are allowed, each one separately. True/false questions have no negative marking.
Can we also publish results of offline exams taken in the hall?
Yes. Upload the marks of the offline exam, and the results are published digitally and can be sent to students.
Can someone else be given the job of writing questions?
Yes. There is a separate role called content admin that can work only on the question bank. A content admin cannot see any other information about your institution.
What if a mistake is found after a result is published?
A published result can be corrected and published again. You can also publish results batch by batch. Students see their own results, a detailed result view and their ranking in the student portal.
Our team will respond within 24 hours.
